Flashback |
Flashback built upon the gameplay and look of games such as Out of this World with it's in depth storyline as well as some really amazing graphics and beautiful design. All of the crude looking 3D sections were also replaced for the 3DO port with FMV sequences, which was a very nice touch too. |

FIFA |
This was the best version of FIFA you could get on any format when it was originally released, it had smooth controls, an option for 6 player games and some nice "famous moments in football" fmv's that really added to the overall feel and presentation. |

Incredible Machine |

This is a fantastic puzzle game which became popular originally on the PC and ended up receiving many sequels on that format, the 3DO version is actually the only console version ever made and retains all the original game's charm. Each level gives you a mission and certain items you can use, the mission for the completed level in the screenshot on the right for instance is "put the basketball throught the hoop" |

Star Fighter |
Really nice mission based shooter from Studio 3DO, everything moves smoothly and at a nice speed, and the different missions for each level stopped the game from falling into repetition like many of the other shooters of the time. Did well enough to end up getting ported to some of the more successfull formats later on. |

Battle Sport |

I can't beleive the amount of times I passed up buying this classic as a child, if ever there was proof to the "don't judge a book by it's cover" saying then this is it, the box and title of the game sounded cheap, so even though I had few available games at the time I repeatedly passed up buying this extremely fun multiplayer game that I know I would've loved as a kid. The game is quite simple you get a 1st person descent style view, you have to run over the ball and fire it into the square goal to get a point, if the other player shoots you, you fumble the ball, it's a hell of a lot of fun. |

Gex |
Poor old Gex gets a lot of stick, admittedly the voiceover work grates and becomes annoying quite fast, but the graphics and gameplay in Gex are both very high quality, there was actually some nice new ideas in the game too with Gex's ability to stick to walls, which helped to give the game some of it's own personality. |

Another World |
This classic game was really ahead of it's time, The character animations just look fantastic, similar in some ways to the look of Prince or Persia, but the imaginative back drops, more varied gameplay and brilliant storyline elevates Another World much higher. Another thing worth mentioning is that the 3DO version had all the background graphics re-done and they look amazing in comparison to other ports. |

Killing Time |
A pretty original and all around brilliant FPS for the 3DO, it admitedly starts out very slow, and even I nearly gave up after 10 minutes, but as soon as you get into the mansion the game does a complete u-turn, the enemies become interesting, the music is excellent and the environment stops being maze like. The original thing about this game is that there are no levels, it's more like you're in a giant mansion you have to explore, akin to the ones in the later Castlevania games, you can save at any time and can only access certain areas when you have the right items, this style does lead to a lot of ammo management though so make every shot count! |

Theme Park |
I really can't think of any management simulation game that held my attention for as long as Theme Park, it's just so brilliantly executed, everything balances out perfectly and the fact that you have to put money into research to get new rides constantly makes you want to get further to see the whole game. |

Puzzle Bobble |
A puzzle classic, this is pretty much a port of the SNES version of Puzzle Bobble, it's a great game with a really nice idea behind it, you basically have to aim coloured bubbles at similar coloured bubble to burst them, the 1 player mode is excellent but 2-player is where it really shines. |
